Lionheart Extra Love Merch

An AIMS collab between LionHeart Coffee, Beaverton Highschool and the Cada Casa Apparel Design Program. Beaverton High Graphic Productions students have developed client briefs, timelines, mood boards, concepts, iterations, refinements, mockups, and storyboards in the development of the piece and content.  Similar to the local craftsmanship of every drink made at Lionheart, each step of the process was done with great care and intention. From graphic design, to shooting and editing, to hand printing each garment, the entire design process was done in house, allowing students to see a variety of careers and creative avenues.

RCTID Timbers Mural

Frustrated by vandalism, Tursi Soccer has decided to change tactics and retake control of the urban pitch. In the world of Portland professional soccer, there is one phrase that capture the mentality and commitment of our supporters: Rose City Till I Die. This mural features a stylized gothic lettering set to a Portland cityscape and Cascade range background spanning two walls, just blocks from Providence Park. It is the capstone project of the ‘23-’24 Cada Casa CANS program, bringing students from three different schools together to create over 3000 square feet of dope street art.

Dos Diegos Mural

There are no two names more important in the MLS-era Portland Timbers FC than Diego Valeri and Diego Chara. These two represent the heart of the team since joining the league, the star above our crest, the passion on the pitch, and character off the field. They deserve their spot in club history, and their faces on the streets of Portland for all to remember. The two Diegos represent more than just the team, but also the Latine and Black communities of North Portland. Design by Portland’s own Richard Miller, talented designer of many dope Timbers designs and eccentric overlord of Calyx Works. Due to damages to the original building, we are currently looking for a new home for this mural.

Roots Futsal

Despite our community’s best intentions, if you build it - they will come, didn’t quite work the way we wanted. Futsal has been growing tremendously in and around Portland, but it has fallen into the same problem as soccer: a boutique sport that requires committed parents willing to pay and drive. It’s not the same game that children across the world play until they either run out of light or are told to come in for dinner. But the courts are there. We just need to show the kids how to use them. Roots Futsal is an offshoot of Cada Casa and has its own website. Since its inception we have hosted pickup games, community tournaments, and summer camps as part of the SUN Program.
