Cada Casa is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that advances equity by providing accessible, impassioned educational experiences, athletic programs, and civic engagement opportunities for students; with a focus on Latine, BIPOC, and disadvantaged communities. Cada Casa facilitates cultural enrichment programs, offers unique workshops and classes, and organizes special events in schools and communities throughout Oregon while celebrating diversity.

  • Summer24 Mural Project

    This summer we will be painting two community-based murals celebrating the Portland Timbers and Thorns. Mural 1: RCTID & BOAN at Tursi Soccer. Mural 2: Dos Diegos at Sweet Home Bar & Grill.

  • Roots Futsal

    Futsal for the people, not the privileged: organizing free street soccer for everyone. portland has the fields, we’ve got the players, now let’s just put them together. roots futsal is all about promoting play by organizing pick-up games, tournaments, and competitive teams. Our vision is to see impassioned pickup games, multiple times a week, for all ages, at five different locations in the Portland metro area.

  • Beyond the Decks

    Beyond the Decks is a DJ education and support program that offers three levels of instruction, open decks, access to equipment, community, and support for all levels. This community-based collaboration is between Cada Casa, Portland Center Stage, and DJ ALoSo.

  • AIMS: BHS x Industry

    The Digital Media Crew is a group of experienced, yet still developing, photographers, videographers, and graphic design students who work alongside an industry professional mentor towards event-specific deliverables. The graphic design students create and print merchandise, event programs, advertisements, and social media content. Videographers film the event and work together to create different cuts in post-production. Photographers are stationed throughout the event capturing models and performers on the runway, the red carpet entry, and participants enjoying the evening. As we believe in both academically and financially supporting emerging creatives, these students will receive compensation once their work is complete.

  • THREAD

    A transformative three-course workshop series delving into the dynamic design world. From mastering the ancient art of natural dyes to crafting personalized tote bags through cut-and-sew techniques, unleashing your creativity in graphic design to adorn your creations with captivating visuals. Each course offers a hands-on exploration of diverse pathways in the design industry, igniting your passion and inspiring your journey toward innovative expression

  • AIMS

    Despite the best intentions and hard work of our public education system, it cannot often provide personalized support and real-life experiences, especially for marginalized and alternative students. Enter Cada Casa’s AIMS program. By providing personalized apprenticeships, internships, mentorships, or just support, we help learners of all ages progress in their passion exploration. At times this looks like a formal mentor with structured (and paid) meetings that provide the opportunity for the apprentice to see how the process of a professional project.

  • Multicultural Soccer

    The Multicultural Fútbol Club is an official Beaverton High School club that provides an opportunity for students to play the beautiful game. This club is free to all BHS (and other BSD students in the BHS boundary). Every week we will divide into groups and play friendly scrimmages. For those who want to play on the weekend teams, these games will begin the first week of April.

  • CANS

    CANS is a program where students analyze the cultural significance of spray-paint-based art while learning fundamentals in lettering, design, composition, and spray technique. Classes include an exploration of both historical lettering/styles and how they influence modern interpretations around the Portland area. Throughout the program, students will gradually develop their ability to produce stylized letters while exploring technical elements in paint/nozzle choice, color blending, layering, dimension/shadows, and more.

  • Apparel Design & Screen Printing

    Exploration of a new-age approach to fashion design, revolving around the use of imagination and retired garments. Students will explore the fashion design process through the use of common tools, basic sewing, embroidery, and screen printing. After exploring a variety of techniques, students may choose to follow the screen printing or sewing pathway.

  • This class will introduce young adults to the art of spoken word poetry. Students will be encouraged to listen, write, and perform poetry with focus on social commentary, tone, and eventually compete in a poetry competition – a Slam.

  • A course designed to explore the ins and outs of Ableton Live. Walking students through sketches and experimentation, the class will follow the steps involved to producing electronic music in any style. Beginning with familiarizing students with the tools that Ableton has to offer, they will then develop their ideas into full-length songs. After being exposed to a variety of approaches, students will have the freedom to focus on any specific musical direction and further develop their skills on their own.

  • A real-world application of the design to build process from need to outcome stressing modeling, practical design, iteration, refinement, tool exploration, materials learning and skill development.

  • In the summer of 2022, Mark Mo Regalia + Cada Casa hosted a performance event showcasing local designers' art. Our goal is to bring inclusiveness into the fashion show industry by curating a collection of almost a dozen local artists ranging from vocal performers to fashion designers to compose entertainment for guests through many different forms.
