RCTID Timbers Mural

Frustrated by vandalism, Tursi Soccer has decided to change tactics and retake control of the urban pitch. In the world of Portland professional soccer, there is one phrase that capture the mentality and commitment of our supporters: Rose City Till I Die. This mural features a stylized gothic lettering set to a Portland cityscape and Cascade range background spanning two walls, just blocks from Providence Park. It is the capstone project of the ‘23-’24 Cada Casa CANS program, bringing students from three different schools together to create over 3000 square feet of dope street art.

Centro Cultural Collab

Centro Cultural and Cada Casa has teamed up to provide Ponte las Pilas, a series of workshops for Latino male teens. The goal of these workshops is to: Reignite their passion for learning, Explore new career paths, Gain motivation and guidance and Connect with like-minded peers. Cada Casa provided live screen printing, a graffiti stencil demonstration, and a DJing workshop.

Future Fest

Friends of Noise invited Cada Casa to host workshops at Find Your Future Fest, an event aimed at professional development, job opportunities, and workshops for young adults in the Portland-metro area. Cada Casa was able to provide live screen printing, a mini Beyond the Decks DJ lesson, a CANS stencil graffiti demonstration, and information about our AIMS program.

Bigger Than Hip Hop

The Bigger Than Hip Hop program is a series of workshops introducing students to the various disciplines of Hip-Hop (music, dance, fashion, art).  Six local artists host beginning workshops in a variety of art disciplines, including street fashion, lyric development and live rapping, beat production, DJing, murals / street-art, and hip-hop dance ensemble. This set of workshops help spark student interest in the hopes of creating clubs or fostering mentorships.
