AIMS 2024

Spring ‘24 Mentorship Capstone Project

AIMS x NORF

The Cada Casa AIMS project curates personalized apprenticeships, internships, mentorships, and support experiences for emerging creatives and professionals. For the Spring of 2024 we partnered with NORF to provide an elegant and elevated platform for performers, musicians, models, designers, DJ’s, videographers, photographers, graphic designers and producers to not just see what the next level looks like, but also to invite them into the process in a structured mentorship program.

  • The DJ’s for this event are top students from the Beyond the Deck DJ series hosted at Barn Radio every Tuesday. New classes for beginner to advanced students begin every month.

  • Cada Casa facilitates various apparel design workshops, clubs, and learning opportunities. Our THREAD program is a series of workshops designed to introduce techniques, processes, and career exploration of the textile and fashion industry. The Apparel Design & Screen Printing Club allows high school students to learn various techniques and create their own garments which will be featured in the show. If you are an emerging designer and want to be part of the show, do not hesitate to reach out.

The Digital Media Crew

The Digital Media Crew is a group of experienced, yet still developing, photographers, videographers, and graphic design students who work alongside an industry professional mentor towards event-specific deliverables. The graphic design students create and print merchandise, event programs, advertisements, and social media content. Videographers film the event and work together to create different cuts in post-production. Photographers are stationed throughout the event capturing models and performers on the runway, the red carpet entry, and participants enjoying the evening. As we believe in both academically and financially supporting emerging creatives, these students will receive compensation once their work is complete.
